Mr. Born is a founder of Aviemore Capital. He is based in Buenos Aires.

Mr. Born has extensive knowledge in mergers & acquisitions, private equity and distressed debt investing in Latin America as well as managerial experience in consumer, technology and aviation sectors.

As partner of Aviemore Capital, Mr. Born is responsible for co-managing investment activities, including deal sourcing, leading negotiations, structuring and executing transactions.

Prior to founding Aviemore Capital, Mr. Born was a partner at MatlinPatterson Global Opportunities Fund based in New York (2002-2009), Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Deutsche Bank based in New York (1997-2002), Product-Line Manager at Bunge Group (1994-97) based in Brazil, Senior Commodity Trader at Bunge Group based in Argentina (1990-94).

Mr. Born is currently a Board member of La Pelada S.A., an integrated agribusiness conglomerate based in Argentina, and Loyal Solutions a quality management and risk & compliance software company in Argentina.

Mr. Cellini is a founder of Aviemore Capital.  He is based in Buenos Aires. 

Mr. Cellini has extensive regional experience in business development (acquisitions and green-field projects): project structuring; due diligence; financing and tax structuring; valuation of companies. He has 15 years of experience in key management and board level positions in energy and chemical companies.

As partner of Aviemore Capital, Mr. Cellini is responsible for co-managing investment activities, including deal sourcing, leading negotiations, structuring, and executing transactions.

Prior to founding Aviemore Capital, Mr. Cellini was a CEO of Agrofina SA, an Argentine agrochemical company. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Cellini was CEO of Central Piedra Buena, an Argentine 620 MW thermal power plant. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Cellini was Head of Business Development at Albanesi SA, one of the largest gas broker and power generators in Argentina. Prior to joining Albanesi, Mr. Cellini was part of the AES Business Development team, which in the period 1994 to 2001, developed and acquired more than 15 assets throughout Latin America.
